		<description>Quaere: I imagine it&#039;s fair to say that donating toys is inherently immoral when you could donate food, but certainly there cases where it could be effectively uncharitable to donate certain items when you know it will preclude the choice of more necessary items?

Situation: a child begging (let&#039;s say you&#039;re in Calcutta). If you give money to the kid, you could be putting money into the hands of that incredibly sordid fellow from Slumdog Millionaire. In such a case, isn&#039;t money actively making the problem worse, incentivizing exploitative beggar-lords?</description>
